Yesterday, four friends, a little dog named Moxie, and I, took a spontaneous trip to the California Delta town of
Locke. You know, near Isletown. As you can see, the
Dai Loy Museum of gaming was open. All mid-west/east coast transplants, I think it did us good to get out of the cities (Oakland, Los Angeles, San Francisco) and see some countryside and agriculture. (Although driving over the Sacramento River, various interesting bridges, and along the tops of levees separating canal from field, it was obvious that we were somewhere else, indeed. )

No visit to Locke is complete without stopping at Tony’s on the way.
hmmm, is anonymous referring to 'Camel' Tony's? serving up hot pockets and oysters on the half shell?
